Cosmic Spirituality
Cosmic spirituality is ONENESS of All that is ...
an evolving awareness that becomes the evolution
of religion. Every religion has dogmas of identity
and separation; cosmic spirituality defines
"all that is" as one, inter-woven sacred whole.
Cosmic awareness continually evolves, creating an 'evolutionary spirituality' which is
experienced as the Impulse of Evolution "unfolding now as our own passionate yearning to create and participate in self and social evolution. It is the soul of evolution. It is experienced subjectively as an unfolding, directional pattern toward higher consciousness, greater freedom through more complex and synergistic order." (quote from Barbara Marx Hubbard) We sense that we ARE evolution. We are nature evolving. The evolutionary impulse lies within all of us. We can choose whether to evolve consciously, or by chance.
Awakening to our evolutionary impulse, we begin to see there is a synthesis of Eastern and Western experiences of the divine. Separation dissolves into a resonant whole where formation of unity consciousness flows into universal Oneness. For the individual, the latter is a spiritual journey of processing one's soul work deep into the core of self and discovering the essence of one's true spiritual being. This is the path to inner peace and enabling peace in the world. As the song goes, "Let there be peace on earth ... and let it begin with me!"
